Most hand-made wool rugs are made using natural colors (earthen tones) like black, brown, red, orange, and other color variances. Ahmadi Carpets uses natural colors which will NOT run when the rug becomes wet.

All rugs purchased from Ahmadi carpets will have the bona fide information including the country of origin of the rug, the tribe or family that tied the rug, the materials used in the rug, and the number of knots per cm square in the rug.

The foundation layers of the rugs are made of wool, silk, or cotton. Wool rugs can vary from extremely high quality to low quality and their life span can vary from hundreds of years to twenty or thirty years depending on the tribes that make the rug and the quality and craftsmanship of the rug.
